We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Ok, this is pretty cool. The shadowed section at the bottom works really well against the rest of the image. Come to think of it, it's a nice composition all around. Like how the darker colours from the shadowed area leak into the rest of the image - that really holds it all together. Also, the subtle variation in the colour seems to be not too far off monochrome, with some yellows and reds being lightly introduced. But that's kind of from a painters perspective I guess.
I find it fascinating how some parts are fairly well focused while others are not. I'm not entirely sure if this is due to dof or if there is something else is at work here - as it appears that some of these well focused spots are in the mid-to-foreground yet pockets also appear in what seems to be the distance.
